Pumpkin Kheer (Pumpkin Rice Pudding)

 Yummy Fall Desert

Prep & Cooking: 30 Mts
Serves 4 persons
Cuisine: Pakistani



Ingredients

2 cups whole milk
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 cup rice
1/4 cup Pumpkin pure
1/2 cup raisins, cashews
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom 
Directions  
  • Bring milk, pumpkin pure and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan. Add rice, and simmer over low heat until the mixture thickens and the rice is tender, about 20 minutes.
  •  Stir in the raisins, cashews and cardamom, and cook for a few more minutes. Ladle into serving bowls, and garnish with few more raisins and cashews.
