The Wikipedia explains that a kite is a tethered(allowing a short radius in which it can move about.) aircraft.Spring festival is celebrated every January 15, with millions of people flying kites all over northern India.People start flying kites early in the morning and continue until the evening. Playing music to accompany kite-flying is a common sight. The kite is known as 'Patang'.
We really miss flying kites here and as I was getting the materials for the Alphabet K I was thrilled to incorporate kite flying as the activity:) So here they are flying their kite:) They had soooooooooooo much fun with my DH.
And the next fun part was the snack part we made some kiwi people and ate them :) Cute huh???
